Galatians 6:2, Foundation (“G62”), was founded in 1997 and has grown from a 501(c)3 vehicle used to assist in meeting individual benevolent needs to one of partnering with ministries, churches and individuals in the coordination, collaboration and administration of kingdom-minded projects. The sphere of G62’s involvement is primarily confined to ministries, churches and individuals within or based within the Original Manatee County area of 1855.

We are a funding vehicle, not a source, for connecting those with a gift of giving and a passion for Spirit led initiatives to those who have been called by the Lord to shepherd them. We look for seasoned, accountable leadership who know the voice of the Master and are willing to operate with integrity and accountability through a mature council of advisors. Thus, allowing them to focus on God’s Kingdom initiative without developing and maintaining a large administrative structure.

We are bound together by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ as described in the Holy Scriptures, summarized in the Apostles Creed and through the prayerful direction of the Holy Spirit.

The two maps displayed represent the Original Manatee County or “OMC” from 1855 and the current day picture of this region which is made up of 8 counties in West/Central Florida.
